22 years old, no prior service, 21 at time of acceptance

EDUCATION: 3.7 GPA from Lehigh University in Civil/Structural Engineering

ASTB: Not sure on ASTB (took in early January 2002), my recruiter said I had the highest scores he'd seen in a while (thanks to Marine Corps Study Guide and ARCO Military Flight Aptitude Test book

)

PRT: 87 situps, 55 pushups, 11:40 1.5 mile

WORK: Worked at a civil engineering internship during summer after my sophomore and junior years

RECOMMENDATIONS: Retired Navy commander in the Civil Engineer Corps

FLIGHT TIME: a whole 8 hours in a piper cherokee, all dual, no solo time

nothing else particularly outstanding, for example no formal team sports in college or high school and no real leadership activities in college. this shortfall was probably balanced by my major/gpa.

applied for SNA with civil engineer corps as a second choice:

ACCEPTED for SNA in April 2002
REJECTED for CEC in April 2002
