STA-21 School Transfer?

Does anyone know if the STA-21 program allows a candidate to transfer from their initial college to another after already attending their first school? For example, 2 years after being accepted would the Navy allow a candidate attending *---* University to transfer to a more prestigious school he would have not been able to get into initially? Or, is it pretty much set in stone once you check in to your ROTC Unit?

This path does not seem to be one that it traveled often but is it possible?

I have seen some OCs and MECEPs transfer schools but it was always for family related reasons. Not just they wanted to attend a better school. They did however have to take those new orders with no cost. So keep in mind that if they say yes you may be paying for your own move.

We just sent a guy from San Diego State to UCLA, the only reason they let him change was that school hadn't started yet, and UCLA would not change their admittance time frame, so his acceptance came a few weeks ago.

Check with the STA-21 office. They are the ones that can answer that question. You MUST finish your degree within the time frame alloted.
