I am an OC who got picked up for STA-21 NFO option. The reason I applied for NFO was because I did not meet the vision stadards to put in for pilot. I have a 4.0 GPA and am currently going through the workup process for having PRK done at a military installation. My command supports me on sending a request chit to CNET to be considered for redesignation to pilot after I get a med waiver. Any thoughts on how this might go over?
