128 would get you the feeling of flying jet, until you blew a tire and got to do your impression of crashing a jet.....then you probably would have bigger things to worry about then the percentage of jet slots available....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's pretty close to on-speed in a T-45, right?!

Because if you get pulled over for speeding, they look at how fast you were going. From what I've seen, 110 isn't quite fast enough. Now, the guys I've known who got jets had been clocked at least 120. So, next time you get a ticket you'll just have to work harder to get that much faster. That looks really good as it shows you have the motivation to go that extra step.

I, unfortunately, was only ticketed for goinig 85 in a 55, so that's why I'm a helo bubba now.

Wait...I'm confused. Some people say the faster you go the harder it is at platform selection, but others say the opposite...which is true lol

128 is not quite on-speed at 11K when you convert MPH to Knots.

131 mph ~ 114 Knots = Onspeed (17 units) for a T-45 at 11,000lb with full flaps.

Thanks MB, I figured it was close. So, at 128mph, you're seeing some green chevron, better give that corrolla a half click of nose down trim and a touch of power...

As far as driving cars at aircraft speeds, trust me, it's just not worth it. You can buy a lot more beer with the insurance money you'll save, and its not fun standing in front of the XO thinking you've just blown the best opportunity you'll ever have for something that stupid. Fly fast, drive reasonably. And since the LSOs won't like that, Fly ON-SPEED, it's fast enough.

How do you figure that?

Well, it's well known that you have to be 5'10" or less with blue eyes and perfect 20/20 to fly jets. With that, your record from birth has to be perfect, not even detention in school. Parking tickets are allowed but speeding ticket or reckless driving means no matter how well you do in the program, you will fly UAV's or COD's. Just the way it is.

You could always join me in the SWO ranks if you fail to make the % that get jets. Im 5'11 with brown eyes and had detention in high school. Dont even ask me my graduation gpa. Plus with my 20/200 vision I had no chance of jets. Get the black polish now!!:D

PSSHH!! every euro tuner motorhead knows that vtec is honda, not toyota.
Thats like putting a nismo sticker on a mitsubishi.....

I know VTEC is Honda. Just using that picture for effect. Doesn't matter much, they are all slow. Rice is rice.;)
