I'll add to the list. Only smoke when I'm entirely too drunk . . . if I ever start wanting one when I'm sober I'll worry.

Yeah, I can't even touch one when I'm sober. I have to not taste it... I have to be that drunk. Cigars though... yeah good stuff.

I always buy cigars through Cigars International myself, I might take a look at Thompsons though. I live overseas right now, so I can buy Cubans out in town...but honestly, I think the quality of them isn't as good as others. Maybe back in the day, but apparently now all the good rollers moved away.

My old MSgt got me hooked on Gurkhas, they are a real joy to smoke. He also got me on Cusano Xclusivos, and AVO XO's...although lately I have been in a real maduro mood.

Smoked a Nat Sherman maduro the other day, I didn't want it to stop! That was an awesome smoke.

Totally agree, at the risk of sounding like a Valley Girl. Totally ....

The Maximo Leader liked Yankee greenbacks just as well as anyone else, and when cigars were "hot" with the 20-30 something crowd about 10 years ago --- Fidel became a whore for the NorteAmericano market (read: $$$$$) and the "real" Cuban industry dropped in quality. PLUS ... some of the Cuban ex-pats have now had enough time to find the right soil, climate, $$$$ backing, get set up properly, and do it right --- in locales other than the Worker's Paradise.

Soooo ..... Who's sorry now ..... ???
