I just wash teh zeta liner from time to time, if I can smell it its bad

edit: sorry jsut noticed this is a jet thread I still hate the caps (we have the same ones you do) but I will but out now
 
love em, have never flown a single flight without one, and if I did I would feel naked. custom ones are fine. lots of people have them, I didnt as a student though. I dont think it would be too over the top however.
 
Don't know if I would like 'em, because I have never worn them. Lots of guys here wear them. I don't know if it would screw up my helmet fit. I know a bunch of guys who swear by them, but I don't want to try something new halfway through the program here in Kingsville.

my helmet fits just fine and I actually take home my helmet liner every now and then to wash it out

Yeah, my whole class had skullcaps issued to them. We also have the torso harness with the horse collar integrated, but no SV-2 integrated. We still wear a seperate SV-2, sans LPU. Nice thing is, since we got the integrated horse collar, we have our own SV-2 :)

I wear the Under Armour KP cap and love it. Now it does make my helmet fit a bit more snug, but the hush kit/new padding is a little large for my helmet to begin with. I definitely see an improvement on the amount of sweat with the KP cap compared to nothing. As for the hush kit, I can fly with or without foamies now. With I have to turn the radios way up; without I'll get annoyed a little if our props aren't synchronized.
 
Tried it, hated it, never worn it since, laugh at people who do. :D

Always wore one. Wore custom colors to match our squadron. Black and Orange.

Also, had our Knives Club make us some custom skullcaps on cruise from silk panties....hmmm....nice....

Had one young JO in the squadron make a name for himself when he tried to wash out his stinking crusty skullcap in the drinking fountain in the back of the ready room. He never heard the end of that.

Oh, now that's an entirely different matter. I always sport a skullcap while playing guitar, especially if Bono is around. ;)

When I was an Attack-Puke ... I always envied the fighter guys with their funky little skull caps.

When I became a Fighter-Puke ... I got a fistful of skull caps ... and wondered what all the fuss had been about .....
