Give your local FSDO a call. There was a thread about this some time ago, but since Steve says I'm lazy, I can't go look for it.

Come on Dev, it's Biennial Flight Review...not bi-annual. Just a little bit of a difference b/t the two.
Actually the FARs have for quite awhile now just called it a Flight Review.....even though it's required every 24 months or biennially....

Damn it's fun to SWO a SWO.....:icon_boxi

It's also why (I believe) you can count your Natops check as a biennial flight review
I'd really like to know if this is accurate!
It is true:

FAR 61.56(d) A person who has, within the period specified in paragraph (c) of this section, passed a pilot proficiency check conducted by an examiner, an approved pilot check airman, or a U.S. Armed Force, for a pilot certificate, rating, or operating privilege need not accomplish the flight review required by this section.

Links like those will be your friend in Advanced. I would study solely off the computer because it was so much easier to look up discussion items in 3710 or the AIM. In fact just the other day I got a question on one of those stupid computer tests in the testing center that was wrong, and I was trying to find my proof in the paper copy. I eventually gave up because I could only find a definition.

@HAL: Thanks for the reference.
