Silly Russian, B-52's are for Americans..

Don't count this guy out just yet. How many F-22s can you buy for $500,000,000? How many B-52s are sitting in the boneyard? Air Force might decide to get their funding one way or another.
 
Theoretically what is wrong with a guy owning a demilitirized B-52? As long as he has the money to maintain it, and can get a rating for it, is there any reason besides the fact that they don't make them anymore for why he wouldn't be allowed to own one? Wouldn't it just be like owning a huge private jet?

That's the point I was trying to make. There are still a bunch in the boneyards, so why not sell a few?
 
Dumb ass USAF pilots. If he'd pay 500M to buy it, he'd prolly pay at least 1M for a ride and what, 50K for a tour?
