Former Skywest pilot and furloughed HAL? He was in my new hire class. One of the four guys below me on the HAL seniority list .

I think I set a cruise record of 15 hours once...almost hurt myself trying not pee that long...

Answer to that is a relief tube from rack to sink (fortunately, he was not my roommate). Point nosed guys are allowed a piddle pack. :icon_smil

The JO Bunkroom on my first fleet cruise...had two sinks.

One was for use as a sink...

The other was for midnight runs and during lengthy GQ deep shelter drills...you read between the lines there.

Regretfully, I was too senior lineal number wise to live in that dark dank space and shared a 3-man.

funny that you specifically mention a gatorade bottle. by the way, if anybody's worried about passing a pee test, there's a trash can in an FBO in valdosta that should house the answer to your prayers. i think the flavor was 'glacier freeze', but, uh....




incidentally, gatorade bottle is a dubious comfort when, by the time you've decided the situation is bad enough that you have to use it, you realize you need to chug the entire bottle of actual gatorade to make it an empty bottle (and thus, usable).
one day my CFI is going to get a bill for all the things i learned from flying that weren't in the syllabus.

Getting in an airplane when you are tried and a short fuse is a Class A waiting to happen. always try to get as much rest as possible before a flight(my moto). This means studying far enough ahead as to not interfer with your sleep schedule. This really is just a Time managment test....if you are not getting enough sleep, something is wrong. I would say 7-8 hours minimum and if you are tired during the day, take a quick 20-30 minute cat nap(not long enough to affect your sleep cycle). Never underestimate the power of rest!! And good looking Red Heads!
oh yeah, "pasty white ass" is a side effect of not enough sleep.
