Shooting Ranges in Santa Barbara

I am a Nupoc at UCSB and would like to learn to shoot and also take some friends who already know. Was wondering if there was any good ranges in Goleta, Santa Barbara, and possibly Ventura? Any suggestions would be great! I have found some online but cant really judge their quality(poorly built websites) My friends and i are gunless so hoping for a nearby range that has decent guns that can be rented

The Gun Club is up on the pass. East Camino Cielo has an open gun range. Beware of mexicans drinking and shooting AK-47's. My buddy caught part of a 7.62 round in the arm there a couple months ago.
Go to Dodge West if you want to know directions.

Thanks DBLang for the advice! I had been to the NRA page but was looking for suggestions on peoples' favorites...wasnt sure where guys from pt mugu or port hueneme went to shoot...or is there a place to go on one of those bases?

The SeaBees actually own the range south of Pt Mugu (past the base on the PCH before "the Rock"), but if memory serves right it's not an "open" range. Might be able to work it out with them though. This is where the Mugu squadrons go to shoot/requal, but we had to arrange w/ them to have a rangemaster/instructor.
