Found this link on FB from the US Navy page. Thought I'd post here as it's somewhat of an up and close look at how the green shirts hooking up your jet do their business.... These guys are the average age of 18-20 years old.

Granted my only experience thus far on the boat is in orange and whites, but that seems like an awfully long time to be parked forward of the JBD. What gives?

First Launch of the cycle. Notice how quickly the wrapped the waist to prepare for the recovery.

Better to be pulled early than show up to the cat late - especially on the waist. Once the a/c is forward of the JBD foul line, the JBD is raised up. It's a shuffle in a very crowded parking lot. Also, those aircraft in the video are being armed by the ordies and this takes a bit of time too. The a/c are pulled early to launch on time. The recovery a/c are already in the overhead and once they see the waist is wrapped for recovery, they come right on in.

E-2? E-2! That's a far cry from an E-2! Learn your history friend that's an S-2 aka the Stoof. The fixed wing carrier based ASW of its era prior to the S-3.

Note real round engines...

As for your question, maybe :D

Wow, Just saw this old thread. Definitely just noticed my error also, haha. That was a complete typo.

What you lack for in action you make up for in quantity. I think HeyJoe and AE must have posted at least 3 different released shots of you over the last 6 months. My theory was that the PH or MC (or whatever they're called now) had a crush on you.
