Despite my lukewarm enthusiasm for a McCain candidacy, these comments by a fellow Senator are reprehensible.

Jay Rockefeller ... never did nuthin', never put himself at risk, never been nuthin', never counted for nuthin' ... except what little counted from what great-Grandpa's money bought for him and the family ...

The obvious: there WERE NO "laser guided missiles from 35,000 feet" when McCain got bagged -- LGB's didn't come along until much later ... McCain and his buddies "went downtown" and down the throat through the AAA and SAM's of the bad guys to deliver their ordnance. Face-to-ace. No bullshit. Hardcore ...

But why should we concern ourselves w/ reality???

The comments from the Senator from W. Virginia are pure excrement. With them, he's not only smeared former Naval Aviator McCain ... he's smeared all of YOU and all those who have served in uniform in the past. He "apologized" ... but it doesn't count --- 'cause it's what he and his fellow travelers on the left BELIEVE about YOU.
