SDB and SDW Jacket for sale

I have a brand new Flying Cross SDB jacket (40R) with ensign stripes/stars sewn on that a friend of mine purchased last May and never wore. He's looking to make back some of his money and buy one that fits him better, so it's for sale for $150.

I also have an SDW jacket (39R) which has been worn only three times. The jacket has finished sleeves and loops on the shoulders for hard shoulder boards. This jacket is going for $100.

If anyone is interested in either of these shoot me a PM and we can set up arrangements. I have PayPal/ebay etc. so we can probably work it out that way.

Thanks,
Adam

Since no one seems to be interested in these, can anyone offer any advice on selling these on ebay, or any other place online? Am I going to end up seeing some hippy wearing these jackets at a protest on the news? Will they be worn to dozens of halloween parties this year?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Adam

When you sell something on e-bay there's pretty much no way of telling who is going to buy it and what they're going to do with it. I highly doubt anyone will pay $150/100 for used uniform items like those. As such I'd also be willing to bet no war protester wants to pay that much just to have an SDB jacket. I don't think there's a war protester, underground black market for military uniform items to wear during 1960s style war protests.

If you want sell them on eBay, do a search for similar items and watch them to see what they sell for. Try to find as many as possible and make sure the condition and quality of the product is equivalent to yours. If one auction was very successful, take a look at why it was versus the others. Then try to emulate the qualities of that auction. If eBay is no good (ie, you won't get squat for them or they look like they won't sell) then you're better off donating them and getting the tax deduction.
