Scooters Forever (A-4 Skyhawk Tribute Thread)

Just as a side note, I've not heard good things about ATAC's maint. practices. Anyone confirm? Seems like a great retirement gig, especially if they pick up A4's.

Flying aginst those guys during work ups was fun. Something different to look at than just another Hornet.

Went there last week. Its a really neat plane. However I was there to see the tomcat. It was great that they didn't have it roped off so I got to go all around it and everything. here are the pics I took

Is BuNo 149532 in your log book. I know you don't like the valley but maybe now it has something of interest. Actually North Fresno over the past few years has experienced respectable commercial real estate development. Didn't mean to HiJack the thread, just curious on the BuNo.

Don't know off the top of my head. My Navy logbook(s) reside in my parachute bag in the top deck of the garage. Along w/ my flight suits, torso harness, g-suit(s), boots (plural), survival vest (I wonder if those flares still work?) ... one of these days before I die, I must get it down and go through these things. :)

At least put 'em up on EBay.

p.s. ... the Valley's O.K. ... so is the rest of California (my home state) --- I just can't stand the people who are running it.

Damn, the owner is a former HSL-46 SH-60B pilot, who lateral'd to the AF and flew B-1's.
He was my Divo 14 years ago.

Nice plane too.
