I'm curious if anyone is going to or has graduated from Embry Riddle via the STA-21 program. If so did it end up being a big financial burden?

No Embry Riddle info here, however I went to Cornell which is just as expensive. (ERAU claims 184-955/ credit hour, Cornell comes in at about 800)

In my experience, and that of some friends, colleges have been very forthcoming with financial aid to offset the difference between our 10k and their tuition. I graduated with about 7500 in student loans after all of my time at school.

Hopefully we can get some of the Riddle guys in here...

Wow that doesn't sound bad at all. I am already dealing with all the debt I encountered paying for my commercial licenses even using the G.I. bill for 60% (I'm pissed off now too because I heard you might be able to use TA soon if not already even for your private license). Would like any free money I can get my hands on.

We had a guy here get picked up and he's going to Carnigie Melon. Probably in the same ballpark for tuition. I know his parents are forking over the difference betweek the 10k and his tuition. They also bought him a new BMW, so yeah, my advice for private school.... Ask your rich parents. They'll probably be more than happy to fork over the difference. Who knows, maybe you'll get a new car out of it too :)
