Running Wild on Palafox Street is a great resource for runners in Pensacola, and even better, they give 10% off when you show them your military ID. Admittedly their prices are more than the Navy Exchange's. However, they will do a gait analysis (watch you walk and see if your foot turns in or out), listen to the type of running you do (ie streets versus trails), and any specific complaints you have (Nike's made my toes fall asleep. Turns out my shoes were too small for the mileage I was doing anyway..), and recommend a shoe for you. They also have a table in the back with info about upcoming races.
