Rules & Regs & American ingenuity ...

I can't own a SBR in either of the two states in which I maintain a residence ...

But --- this is legal. It's a pistol. Try shooting 'bullseye' with it, sometime.

I can even 'carry' it loaded in a vehicle, which is usually verboten for a long gun/rifle.

You gotta' love the total incompetence & cluelessness (is that a word?) of the bean-counting bureaucracy and political establishment when it comes to firearms laws ...

Thank God for American ingenuity!!! :):):):)

You're also allowed to own a carbine conversion kit for it as well. I like to have a butt stock for mine around, because you just never know when it might come in handy.

The thing I love about the city/state that I live in. I'm required to have a permit to conceal a weapon on my person. However, I can walk around town (legally) with a rifle/shotgun slung around my back. The laws here also allow for open carry of pistols. . .I just don't get it. I suppose a concealed weapon is more dangerous than an unconcealed weapon? I think I could do more damage with my AR than my XD-45, but maybe I'm wrong.

By the way, great looking SB AR pisotl

*phew* ... I'm exhausted.

Still ... bottom line: it's only a 'pistol' ... :)

wrecklessfool

just slackin...
Guess who I'm voting for next election...

I am avoiding orders to California due to their incredibly STOOOOPID gun laws. Looks like some other hippie states are following suit. You can thank the gangsters and such from the 30's for the heavy handedness on the NFA firearms we all drool over. A $200 tax stamp back in the day for a FA, SBR, DD, etc would have crippled the law abiding citizens of the time. Now, it's merely a PITA and only getting worse. But whatcha know, the guys who shouldn't have access to the NFA firearms actually get ahold of them EASIER than us law abiders. Anyone else with me for a REVOLUTION!!!! Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaawwww!!!!

C-More 8 MOA red dot tactical sight ...

About 8 MOA is all you'll get with that thing. Nice pistol, but not quite my style. I'm more intrigued by steel and wood.
Huh?? You do understand the concept of interchangeable MOA dot modules in the C-More sights, yea-as ???

The C-More sight modules are available in 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 16 MOA dot size. "MOA" stands for minute of angle, of course, but it's got NOTHING to do w/ tradidional shooting for groups, accuracy, or score at the range in the 'normal' sense. The larger the MOA in the sight module, the larger the size of the dot, but that doesn't mean that's what you can 'print' on paper.

It's a 'pistol' ... it's for short range(s). The sight is for quick target acquisition at close, tactical ranges w/ both eyes open.

The 6 and 8 MOA dots are considered standard sizes for competition pistols. Many shooters prefer a little larger dot and go with a 12MOA, while others prefer the smaller dot size of a 4MOA. If you will be shooting mostly short range, select a larger dot...long range, select a smaller dot, etc., etc ...

I went for a happy medium for 'tactical' applications and for all-around 'dot' visibility .. and thus opted for an 8 MOA in the C-More dot options ...

I took it to a school and was very pleased w/ the results.
