I have a 3 bedroom apartment at Governors Gate off of Davies and University park way but only one roommate. The apartment is located right in between Whiting Field and NAS Pensacola so you will have a shorter commute for primary and API. Also, if you are going to primary a lot of SNA live here because it is a lot nicer of an area then Milton, especially considering it is right next to the University of Western Florida. Anyway the rent is only $325 a month and includes a washer and dryer. The place is furnished for the most part except for the third bedroom of course. distance from NAS Pcola

It is about a 30 min drive maybe 25 but like I said keep in mind that it is halfway to Whiting field too. If you get a 12 month lease on a place by the back gate you are looking at a 90 min commute to Whiting when you get to primary. Seriously the back gate is far from the interstate so it will take you that long.

Just so you know, if you live outside the back gate and get orders to whiting, it's far enough to break the lease.

I just called TMO and they said you have to get orders to a duty station 50 miles away from your current duty station in order for TMO to force you out of your lease. NAS Pcola is not 50 miles away form Whiting Field. However, I was informed that some lease are designed such that you can break them if you get orders to a different duty station regardless of the distance between the new and the old station.

I believe Florida law is 30 miles. Anyway, I know many who have been able to break a lease to head to whiting.
