Moving down May 12 and have been looking at a 3 bedroom at Governors Gate in Pensacola. Has anyone lived there and have good things to say or horror stories about them? Also any other suggestions for housing in Pensacola? Rent is dependent on what apartments are available but for two the price range is from 510-620.

Governors gate is pretty far away from the base. I could see how that drive would get tiring fast.
I live there now, but I am moving around May 15. If you want to talk about taking over my lease, feel free to PM me. I live in a 2 bedroom unit though. On a bad day, I make it to the front gate of NAS Pensacola in 25 minutes. The place is really nice and the management is great. It's mostly college students and military that live here. The pools are really nice and the gyms are alright. It's a good place to live if you want to stay in Florida for primary because it is pretty much between NAS Pensacola and Milton. Our unit is 890 a month without utilities. After utilities, and after washer/dryer rental we pay around 500-520 a month each.
The only downsides to this place are that it's kind of a drive, and it's not on a beach. PM me with any other questions.
