I went last Memorial Day and it was a pretty phenomenal experience.... 30,000 bikes riding through downtown D.C. for un-accounted for POWs.
Anybody on the board wants to meet up at our rallying point Sunday, shoot me an IM.

I'm really on the fence on this. Looks like something I need to try before I die, but also seems to be one of those things you'd only want to do once.

Though, apparently not in your case.

It's pretty much burns an entire day, doesn't it?

EDIT:
Nevermind the above. I just visited the website and watched the video on the history of the Rally. I'll be there.

I was on the fence doing it again this year as well Scoob.... particularly since it was 95 degrees on the hot asphalt in DC last year. But I don't think it's going to be that warm. I have a few buddies from work who ride and just moved to the area not too long ago, so that's how I'm getting shnookered in to it. I just figured if any folks from AWs want to join in, the more the merrier. I think we'd meet at Ft. Washington HD in the morning, off Indian Head Hwy, and then ride in. There are lots of food and beer vendors and live bands I believe. But I did wait over 4 hours in the Pentagon parking lot last time.

What a great day to be a U.S. American.....

the last 2 pix are of a valve from the catapult room of the Mighty "O" CVA-34...before she was scuttled. Someone had left it at the bottom of "The Wall" today....
That's your's truly on the left...and that handsome SOB on the right is Scoob.
