Reservists LOR?

I am thinking of having two people I know write me LORs. They are both reservists. One is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army reserve and the other is a Commander (he might be a captain, I forgot) in the Navy Reserve. Does it hurt using reservists for LORs vs using active duty officers? I know them both personally. Thanks

I would think so. They're still officers right? You still salute them right?

But one may think of what your applying to. They may not hold the weight an active duty 0-4 with more TIS. (or is that possible compareing an 0-6R?)

A reserve officer who knows you is just about the same as getting one from an active duty guy. The only thing that will vary is their personal knowledge of you and command of the English language. You will be fine
