Reserve Officer to SNA

Looking at a Commission as an AEDO (Engineering Duty Officer) through the Naval Reserve.

In the meantime, I am still working on a Pilot slot in regular Navy, which would require that I go to OCS, etc.

Since I expect the Reserve commission to come through months before the AD, will I still be able to move across??? How does it work with a USAF application??
