Do you need a Bachelor of Science to become a pilot? I was considering going to college and either going with NROTC or OCS. I know NROTC you need a Bachelor. I want to be a helicopter or maybe jet. But I am more interested in Search and Rescue and transport. hence the copter. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do after I retire from the Navy. Maybe those words came together and made some sense.

You can have any Bachelor's degree, not just a Bachelor of Science. So you could have a Bachelor of Art in English Literature, or anything else. But possessing a bachelor's degree is one requirement for becoming a commissioned officer.
