Reporters get bombed video

Was that an F-14? I'm not really sure what was going on in this video (other than these guys getting bombed), don't know if this is set during the second or first gulf war.

Don't know the story behind that, but the plane shown is an F-14.

Whether the explosion was caused by the jet or not, I don't know.

Wasn't aware that the F-14's did a lot of air to mud.

With the retirement of the Intruder, the Tomcat became the premier strike fighter in the Navy. They were held back but not getting the newest weapons as quickly as the Hornets but the LANTIRN pod was much better than the Hornet's pod. For dumb bombs, LGBs or JDAMs, the Tomcat could haul a bigger load and further than the F/A-18C.

Ha, I saw that as well, and in other relating articles they mention the aircraft as an F-15, but then again like you said, the video showed an F-14 but that doesnt mean that it dropped the bomb.
