Really, that competitive? BDCP - Crypto

Unsure if anyone would know this. I am applying to the May 23rd BDCP board for Crypto 1810. I am currently attending WGU, which doesn't give out GPAs, but the recruiter said it is an accredited school and will work. A recruiter told me to put N/A on the GPA (Box 15), I think. Does anyone know how much of a problem this will be? They said they've gotten other applicants accepted with a N/A GPA. My degree is in Computer Science, Network Operations and Security. I have 7 Certs ( A+,Net+,Sec+, Project+,Cloud+, ITIL and a Linux Foundations cert.) Im retaking the OAR on Monday. I got a 47 on my first attempt with no studying( I mistake I know). I've heard all over that it's super competitive, then I also hear they're really looking for people. Is this a lot to do about nothing? Or is this something?

My graduate school does not disclose grades. I chose a different designator in the same community and I was fine. Take FormerRecruitingGuru's advice.

The recruiter doesn't calculate the GPA, the processor and CNRC will based on all colleges attended. There is a worksheet/calculator they use.

Oof, that's not good news. If they calculate it that way, I won't qualify for much. Is GPA a disqualifying factor in all cases, or are there exceptions if the rest of the package is great? I have 3 letters of Recommendation for 2 captains and 1 from an admiral. unsure of the weight those will have.

You might meet the requirements overall. If not, you might fall within waiver category and if you're below that, unfortunately it would be end of the line.

Go through the Program Authorization, it lists the specific requirements as well as describes what might be considered a waiver.

Once again, strongly encourage discussing with your recruiter and verifying if you're eligible.

I went to WGU. Any passed class is automatically a B or 3.0. They don't do GPA's but if you pass a class, it's essentially a 3.0

I’ve heard that too. Did you do any college before WGU? When I was 18 I went to college and did a few courses I wasn’t committed too at the time. Ended up just not going and failing some. That was 16 years ago. Now I’m 8 classes from my degree and doing the math like what I think they will do. I will never meet the minimum GPA.

Yeah I want to the University of Kentucky for 4 years. My recruiter told me they take the latest GPA but I can't say with 100% certainty.

I'm still in the process of seeing if I get picked up but I'm pretty sure my recruiter put the latest GPA when we were working on my application.
