I’ve done it, pretty cool, but I felt a little poor when walking from the Griz-O-Copter past all the Gulfstreams!
One has to be careful doing the pelvic thrust.

I'd be curious to know what the "unused but available" resources are.
Compared to Newport…I’m thinking girls, beaches, and the OG Dilbert Dunker. But with Trader John’s gone you may have a point.

Went to the Vineyard a few times during a summer program at Boston University a few years ago. I can defitnatly see why the rich people go there.
I would like to be able to spend a quiet winter there, if I had the means.
Its a beautiful island. Like the Cape though, greedy property owners have instituted ridiculous beach access ordinances meant to discourage vacationers, travelers, anyone who does not own a home near the beach. It's ridiculous at this point. Hawaii gets it right and Massachusetts needs to adopt a similar policy. I get so angry every time I travel to Cape or Islands over this.
Honestly, it's surprisingly affordable in the winter. It's summer when it becomes insane...
