He says the airfield is rarely used and is used frequently by snowmobilers, and that the Army should not have parked it on the trail. He also sued the airfield's owner for allowing both snowmobilers to use the airfield and the Army. Seems more like it would be the airfield owner's fault, I mean how would the pilots know the place is frequented by snowmobiles?

How about travelling at a speed where you could stop prior to hitting an object that might unexpectedly appear before you in the gloom of night?

Spent the afternoon yesterday getting the boss ready for his first post initial training checkride! IFR departure to VFR on top for airwork then RNAV LPV to a full stop followed by some pattern work once the ceilings lifted above 1000'. Good times!

Well hot dang…that’s more fucked up than the stupid stuff I do around St. Patrick’s Day…like wearing green Omega polyamide NATO bands…and wearing blinking green light necklaces that I fabricated from several blinking light Christmas necklaces [by putting all the green lights on one necklace]…
