question regarding ASTB scores

hey guys,

I have a question. Once you take the ASTB do your scores always stay with you? Or do you have to do something with those within a certain timeline (i.e. apply)?? Im curious because as of right now my recruiter wont talk to me very much until I at least take the test, but I want to get my grades up higher before I apply. So I was wondering if I could take the test now, then wait awile before I apply.

really? I was under the impression that they were only good for two years....
