hi everybody,
i'm a 21 year old college junior with hopes of becoming a naval aviator. the only problem is my vision doesn't meet the requirements. i'm considering prk, but i don't want to spend the money then find out i'm disqualified for some other reason. my question is, is it possible for me to take the physical and pass everything accept the acuity test, then with this information get the PRK? even then, i know its not guaranteed that i would get a waiver. i am, however, a civil engineering major with a cumulative gpa around 3.6 and have about 10 logged flight hours so would that help at all? i haven't taken the ASTB yet, but i'm sure thats a big part also. Thanks again guys for any info.
