I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong section. I am currently in the BDCP program under SNA, and I graduate in may. I was wondering if I should start taking flying lessons and obtain a private pilot's license while I am still in school? My major is business administration and management, and I do not have a strong aeronautical/engineering background. However, I was thinking about taking flying lessons now so I can be more competitive in flight school, and maybe understand the concepts they teach there easier.
I am hoping that any officers that are/were involved with aviation could give me their opinion on rather I should just try to obtain a private license now or after OCS. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
