For all of you guys who are in the know:

We got a brief from Personal Property today and were told that our orders from API to Primary would likely be TDY and not PCS. If that is the case, our 10,000 lb limit of stuff to move at government expense drops to only 600 lbs. I know that I have a lot more than 600 lbs with me here and I'm really hoping that I'll get PCS'd.

What orders did you guys get to Primary?

Sorry dude, unless you spent more than 180 days in Pensacola, its 600 lbs. And it did not "drop" to 600 lbs, it always was 600 lbs. You might try to scam your way into the full PCS, call detailer, beg, get on knees, whatever. But you're probably stuck.

Those of us that spent 9 months in Pensacola for API got full moves, but since those days are over for a while, no joy.

Baloney! I was there for 149 days, got a full PCS from ROTC to API, then another full PCS from API to Primary in Corpus. Don't ask me how, I wasn't about to mention it while they were doing it.

Yep, it's not as clear cut as that. I was in the A-Pool and API for 270 days and was only allowed a 600 pound move. Of course, they said it was because I was OCS. Seems like things change from week to week.
