pretty good f-8 site

NATC Pax River once had the only TF-8A in the Navy. I had a chance in late 60's to get a hop in the back seat, but couldn't get off my own flight schedule to take it. Wish I had taken it so that I could tell F-8 drivers I'd flown their a/c & wasn't that impressed.

There is a plaque in Kingsville about two seat F-8's being used briefly as advanced trainers.
