We should all take a moment to pray for the crew of the Columbia and their families. Keep them in your hearts today.

I will keep those families in my prayers. A sudden and tragic death is the hardest to cope with; they will need all the support they can get.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of the Columbia crew. I saw where one of the crewmen was a Navy EA-6B pilot. They are truly heroes. The space program that the US has is unbelievable. Will keep these people in our prayers. God speed. Semper Fi

Gone but not forgotten...Columbia and her crew

My prayers for the family of these fallen heroes. For myself, this brings back strong emotions and memories of the loss of Challenger. I grew up on the Space Coast, in Cocoa Beach, FL. And as many people there are, an avid space fan and supporter of NASA. Growing up, and to this day when I have had a chance, I have had the fortune to see NASA and our Astronauts do the unbelievable. Anyone who has seen a shuttle launch knows the majesty and pride in our nation as we send our best and brightest into space. For launches and landings schools throughout the Space Coast would go outside to witness the glory of launches, and the sonic booms of reentry and landings. Just looking at the upturned faces of the kids watching, or the adults yelling "GO, GO, GO!!" in a chant, you know that those are our true HEROES. God bless them and their families, and all the ground personnel as they come to grips with what happened.

The crew of Columbia are truly heroes. It is a fact that everyone in aviation knows there are risks, just as our friends and families know them all too well. The crew of Columbia knew the risks that space travel carried with it. But they went anyway because they believed they could make a difference. That is a true definition of bravery. My heart goes out to the friends and family of those seven brave men and women, they will be missed and we mourn them one and all.
