Its always nice when you clock out and you boss says, "hey, yes or no, do you want to fly?" Well yes of course. "ok the huey shows up at 3, be here on the ramp"

My ass was there.

All I was missing was the hot steamy vietnamese jungle, my 60cal machine gun, and a big wad of big league chew. Nothing like cruising around the Colorada' countryside at about 50 feet in a good ol UH-1H Huey(sn 65-10091). This helicopter actually served in the 'Nam and was actually shot down! So ya know its a good ride if its still goin! Anyways, heres the pics I got before the battery died. Oh and in the third pic, thats not a road, thats a walking path in some park...notice the bush at the bottom of the window. And this was the "higher" portion of our trip. Good God it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I want to fly jets, but holy sh*t there is something awesome about flying "between" trees at 50 feet.
