you must have a GPA of 2.5 to be competitive. but i would suggest above a 3.0. a certain major does not really matter, the Marines are not like the Navy and Air Force who like to have the technical degrees. if you are studying a technical major then people have said that it helps you in flight school and certain areas of aviation. another thing that you have to have is above a 225 on your PFT. But that is the minimum, you should strive to get above a 250 if you can. PFT involves situps in two minutes, pull ups, and 3 mile run.
