What level of security clearance is required for those applying to be a SNA? What about when your're assigned an aircraft?
 
In the training pipelines you are cleared for a Secret clearance. I'm not sure when it becomes active, I guess winging.
 
Most Fleet squadrons a secret will allow you to see everything you need to know baout your aircraft and the threats out there. COs and Xos will have TS. Other than that Im guessing if your aircraft or mission requires it you can get TS (very long pain in the @ss process)
 
Just to confirm Skid's post, yes, above Secret is platform specific.
