Does anybody know if your pfa records are taken into account when the board meets to determine who is selected for aviation? Also, is the navy getting harder on who they let into flight school?

a) no (this being said, you CO's ranking of you is taken into account. If you suck at the PRT, you prob ain't gonna get the highest PNS rating)

your pfa can also affect your aptitude - if you fail the pfa, i think your LT is required to give you a 1 or 2 in one of the categories.

so ... yes it will affect your chances of getting aviation - but only indirectly via your pns rating and aptitude grades
