I bought my dog from a 2ndLt that lived at P'cola (family housing). Probably not if you live in the Q. Meridian allows animals, but you're limited to size and quantity.

What's the size limit? I have an English Mastiff. She only weighs 120 now but she is only 8 months old. Her dad weighs 260.

Goat--Are you sure it's a dog? Sounds more like a shetland pony! Go to the Standard Installation Topic Exchange Service (SITES) web page at this address: https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/swg/owa/WebGuard.Login?APPL=9004&RULE=01

If this address doesn't work, do a Google search for Standard Installation... etc. If you are already in the military, you can login w/ just a social and DOB. Once inside, you can look up any DOD site in the world. It's a great resource for relocation info. You'll be able to find base housing, medical, spousal employment, recreation, the list goes on. For both of my past duty stations, SITES listed the specifics for pet restrictions in the various base housing units. I'll tell you that unless you qualify for a house, you probably won't be able to take Baby Huey! We have one of our two pooches that weighs about 75, and he wasn't allowed in most of the apartment style units. Good luck, PM me if you have other questions.
