pay question

just trying to figure out what we'll qualify for.


So if deployed, on an aircraft carrier, Indian Ocean, Present day
do we get all these incentive pays.

Aviation career inct. pay -- obviously
separation allowance -- obviously
hazardous duty incentive pay -- ?? it lists two types crew and non crew
IDP/HFP -- pretty sure we get this just for being in Iraq
HDIP -- ?? wonderign about this since it says flight deck (what about LSO)

and then for monthly career sea pay do we get an extra $100 a month for that (or $210 over 3)

so for an O-3 with 4 years flight exp while deployed (on the boat and working on the carrier deck) could he possibly be getting all this $$$
$4392(base) + $206(flight) + $150(hazard) +$225(IDP) +$150(HDIP) +$250(separation) + $100(sea pay)

Hazard is HDIP. Separation allowance only if w/dependents.

Basically you get base pay, ACIP, and sea pay if single. Not every pilot is an LSO, not all are married or have dependents, and IDP/HFP only applies while in the area of combat ops. You do rate your BAH though, so don't forget to factor that in for where your permanent station is.

Negative. Everyone who is deployed aboard a ship rates career sea pay, it is based on amount of sea time...
