What the hell?

"Double Cheeseburger? ...I'd hit it!"

Great add campaign. Sure makes me want to go buy a :hot_anima double cheeseburger. They're not just for lunch anymore. :D

All of you eat Mcdonalds. Watch "Supersize Me." You can download it from any P2P software online. You will never eat Mcdonalds again. Promise

For the record, everyone, this was NOT what I was intending to link to. It appears the Flash animation I was going to link to has been moved. Let me find it and repost it, because as ridiculous as McDonalds adoption of "I'd hit it." as a slogan used to sell cheeseburgers is, it is nowhere near as funny as the video that was intended for your viewing.

My apologies, and let me try to make up for it now. :D

Did anyone check this second link? I just wondered if it worked for anyone else.

Yeah, it works. A classic. That thing has been around in some form or another for about 20 years. Good times.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but this is NOT news.

I decided some time ago to use the "F" much, much more as I grow older ... it is a sign of maturity and confidence.

It truly is a noun, verb, adverb, adjective, etc., etc.... it can be used in nearly every setting and situation.

In fact, I consider it much like, in fact synonymous with "ALOHA" ... same guidelines, same constraints. So when I say "Aloha, Brothers," you know what I mean ...

You mean "Book 'em, Danno!"...right?
A little trivia time (???) --- some of the original navigational waypoints/intersections in and out of Honolulu are named after someone's favorite detective shows. Canon, Booke, and Selic, come to mind right away.

Canon = the old TV detective series with William Conrad, "CANNON".
Selic = of course, TOM SELLECK, as in Magnum, PI.
And "Booke"? It used to be "Bookem" -- no joke. As in: "Book 'em, Danno"!!

When the FAA went to computers in that great flight plan in the sky, only 5 characters were allowed for the identifiers to these waypoints. Therefore, when some overwhelmed bureaucrat changed all the identifiers to 5 characters, "Bookem" became "booke". Makes absolutely no sense when considering the original intent; why not make it phonetically "BOOKM", or something like that...?

In point of fact, I had the HNL "Head-Fed" in my cockpit once on the way back from Tokyo and I related this history to him. He was a fan of "Hawaii 5-0" and said he was going to make it a priority of get "Bookem-Danno" back into the phonetic Honolulu FAA waypoint lexicon. Then Sept 11 happened and other, more pressing priorities came to the forefront. With the way the FAA works, all these could be changed to Tom, Dick, and Harry by the time you read this ... :)

But maybe, some day ... in a far, far, better place ??? Say what? Oh, yeah --- I forgot: one of the waypoints IS PRESENTLY (and always has been) NAMED "DANNO" !!!

ALOHA, Bruddah .... :icon_smil

I actually gave up cursing (or "cussing," for all you who think the South will rise again) for Lent. So far, so good....

And, as Megadeth would say, "...so what?"
