Making Recruiting Great Again
+1 on never wanting to to go Nohfuk. The kid had his choice of everything and pulled that. Wonders never cease. Anyway, they're updating in real time here. It's actually oddly fascinating.

Seriously, you could have even picked a ship out of Hawaii; get lei'd (double meaning) by beautiful Polynesian women everyday.

Awesome, hope that keeps working.

And I found if you use internet explorer you can open it easily, Firefox didn't like it.

Wudgles/CommodoreMid,

We worked with the SWONET tech extensively today and we had mixed reports on FireFox succes. We couldn't nail down a specific problem, but add-ons and FireFox browser settings could be a significant factor. Right around the time of your posting SWONET restarted the software running the tracker and it cleared up some issues a few were having even on IE.

Cheers,
Steve

I would highly recommend avoiding a DDG entering the yards for 8 months. You will have a very hard time qualifiying anything but inport OOD until you get back underway. Yard periods can be miserable and odds are you will regret the short-sighted choice.
Yeah, but underway periods can be miserable too. The yards can certainly suck, but it's also a good time to get to know your ship from the bottom up.

And it's gonna happen...dry dock probably not, but (and FDNF is the weird exception) you're going to go through at least one deployment, one yard period, one training cycle. People will say all of them suck, it's just a matter of how the timing will fit into your tour. So it's not like you can "game" the system anyway.
