Oh Man...

You know, I have trouble finding two ships colliding at sea funny.

It should be known that this happens, but it is not humor.
 
I saw something similar following a dual CVBG photo ex. A smallboy out in front on the left side of the group went to flank and cut hard right across the bows of both CVNs following FINEX....

First CVN went full stop, second went emergency astern and small boy went just under the bow and missed by a few yards. For a while the small boy was not visible from deck of second CVN as it went under the bow. Yikes....

CVBG Admiral who was on bridge of the carrier at the time ordered the plane guard helo to go pick up the CO and his bags.
 
What happened with these two ships as far as damage? Anyone know? I know these things are built like brick sh*thouses, but all of that mass plowing into another ship surely must've caused a massive amount of damage....
