Officers rooms on a carrier?

So..... anyone got any pics of officer berthing? I tried google images with searches like "officer berthing uss enterprise" (and "truman") and just get random black and white pictures of everything except officer's quarters. Lots of pics from submarines, dated to the '70s too, for some weird reason.

I took a tour of the local prison (my buddy knew the warden) and when I went into one of the cells, the first thing that entered my mind was "This really reminds me of my stateroom on the boat". When I told them that, they laughed. They stopped laughing when I told them I wasn't kidding.

While I agree with HD that my stateroom was similar to a prison cell, I've seen some of the SWO's staterooms. This was was a JG was sleeping in:

We have a 2 man room. Plenty of drawers/built in desks, 1 sink, 1 upright locker unit (shared). There are 6-8 man rooms available for officers as well. Those are gen-pop prison style type.

I dont' complain about my room at all. It's quite a bit different compared to where the Troopers sleep.

O5s and above have their own rooms and some even have their own heads. RHIP.

Here's >6 officers in a 2 man stateroom -- showing one way to "stack it". :)

BTW ... one of the guys in the pix is the Navy's all-time "Top Hook". One guy runs a dude ranch in Idaho, another is a hotel manager in Aspen, another became an airline SCAB .... I don't know about the other two+ .... :D

Is this how all the shooters live? Do you guys all live together, or are you mixed among the other prisoners?

On the Nimitz, the shooters lived in "shooter alley", which consisted of four 2-man staterooms. When we had more than eight shooters, they lived elsewhere until there was a vacancy in shooter alley. I could be wrong, but I think all Nimitz class carriers have a shooter alley. That was the case when I went TAD to the GW.
