NROTC Marine Option Pilot

Hello, I was wondering what were the chances of obtaining a pilot contract for a Marine Option in NROTC.

I heard that if you maintain a high GPA, PT score, etc, it is almost guaranteed. Is this true?

If I wish to become a Marine Aviator, would NROTC or PLC be my best route?

Thanks in advance.

You can get one through NROTC or PLC. Just note that you have to earn one while in NROTC and if you do PLC you can get one before reporting to PLC during the summer.

From what I hear, study for the ASTB, have 20/20 eyesight(or PRK correctable), good gpa and a solid PT will get you one. I hear flight contracts are backed up at the moment, I would recommend going and talking to an OSO.
