NPQ'd E-2 but not C-2

A V-22 isn't as big as an A-3. V-22 is smaller than a Shitter.

That said, the first couple of cruises with it will be filled with learning points. Each LHD went through an angsty period when they cruised with V-22s for the first time.
It is ten feet wider than an A-3 was long. So yeah, is as big as an A-3.

Unfolded. Point stands though. The thing is fucking huge to have to spot anywhere on a CVN. Especially during cyclic ops.

CMV-22B lifestyle will be similar to current C-2 lifestyle.

Ospreys land on inboard spots 6 and 9, so any adjustment to the flight deck flow just has to take that into account if you're going to recover during fixed wing ops. Handlers are smart people. They've got this.

We had the Osprey COD show experiment on our TSTA last year. Instead of coming down first, they landed last. Then they launched first. Wasnt that big of a deal in the end. Folded they are small, but if they are palm tree'd, they take up a shit ton of space. There was a learning curve, but it worked out.

A lot of the delays on deck associated with the movement of cargo/pax can be mitigated pretty easily. Having the fork lift and grapes ready, briefing outbound pax prior to arrival, and having the outbound cargo pre-staged will all reduce the on-deck time.

One of the nice things we learned from the FBE was that a palm-tree'd Osprey on El 4 does not block the lens.
