Poll to end all polls...:p

Listening to the "Bob" out of Norfolk, it talks about this new "Med-spa" where you can get various body hairs removed  (don't worry, this is clean) ...and one of the happy "customers" talks about how her husband got his chest hairs lased off...

Begs me to wonder the following...when we were boys growing up, chest hair was a sign of being a man...we rejoiced the day that we HAD to shave our faces and then counted the chest hair as it developed...how many metrosexuals do we have in the forum that find they are "disgusted" by their chest hair enough to endure the days of itching that accompanies getting rid of them (without lasing)? Do their spouses encourage this!?

I have friends that have no hair and barely have to shave. I make fun of them for not going through puberty yet.

I had a friend that would shave EVERTHING below his neck once a year. It was some type of wierd high school baseball team tradition.

One drunk night when he was wasted we decided to shave EVERYTHING above his neck. Do you know it takes almost 4-5 months to make shaven eyebrows look normal again......

In a related topic, while deployed to Turkey, one of my JO squadronmates passed out drunk and subsequently had his eyebrows shaved. The funny thing was that it took him several hours the next day before he realized it. He was livid and threatened everyone - first with violence, then with legal action. He settled down after a while, but it was hard to take him seriously for the next month while his brow grew back in. Good times.

Pretty much invincible
From a female perspective - chest hair on a man is a result of him being a man, and different from me. I'm all for it.

Back hair, however? Get it gone.

Did it grow back normally or all wild? That's awesome.

Side note, do you guys follow the tradition of if someone passes out with their shoes on, they were clearly too wasted to do so, and are therefore fair game to mess with, or is it just anyone that's dumb enough to pass out in front of their squadron mates has it coming?

Some friends of mine follow the shoe rule in their house. I"m always paranoid when I'm drinking there :)

In our pussified world of Italian "fashion," home makeover shows, and gay cowboy movies, would you expect any less?

At the academy all the guys that found out they got SEALs shaved their eyebrows. We had to hold some guys down that didnt want it... kinda scary when a future SEAL is threatening your life and you are holding a razor an inch away from his eyeballs. The next day it was kind of a honor when they stood out at formation. I thought it was funny during inspection when they would look all over guys and tell them to trim their nose-hairs and such, then they would look at the guys without eyebrows and just move on. Hahaha

And before someone thinks I am claiming to have gotten SEALs or something it was my squad leader and their friends that we shaved my plebe year.

I know a bunch of guys on our football team shave their legs. I've always that it was a little odd, and never really understood why.

Probably something to do with tape - it's fairly common.
