Non-Special Edition Star Wars DVD's

Anyone know where one can get the Star Wars movie DVDs? The ones that don't have all those crappy extras. Let me know.

You can get em the same place I got mine...over 6 months before they came out in the States.

But you have to speak Russian to get past the title menu

Edit: Whoops, almost forgot - Bought mine in Eastern Europe, made in Russia, if the hint was too subtle. It's cheap and no frills.

There aren't and, according to Lucas, never will be a DVD verison of the original films, just the special editions. I've heard of people taking the old Laserdisc versions and transferring them to DVD. Try this forum: http://boards.theforce.net/

I bought some import versions myself, about two or three years ago. They are the special editions, though...not the new special editions that are in the boxed sets now, but the special editions that were re-released in the theatres in '96. They are pretty good, but they're only VHS quality, really, both audio and video. I definitely want the new ones.
