I can't get any "good advice" during the holidays as most vendors are AWOL for the rest of the year ...
Are .223/5.56mm suppressors "interchangeable" (discounting the obvious = threading) when using 5.7X28mm bullets???
I don't reload, but I'm under the impression that .223/5.56 AND 5.7 use the same bullet: and it's actually a .224 ... ???
If true, it would/should make them "interchangeable".
Anyone?? Buehler??

) research is would the higher velocity of the round do anything (possibly over time) to a suppressor for a smaller caliber? I dont know a whole lot about them at this point in the game. I would imagine when they design a suppressor for a particular caliber, they're able to accomodate a little higher velocity than the typical x.xxmm round you will put through. If you put a round of the same size, but much higher velocity, will that do damage to it, or will it just not suppress it "as much" as the slower round? So not so much a question of trying to fit the square peg in the round hole, but more a question of will putting it through too fast "rip the guts out"
