NIOBC rewriting curriculum?

I was told recently that there is currently a 6-month delay for NIOBC slots as they are rewriting the curriculum. Can anyone confirm this? Also, any sense of what this means for FY17 selectees? Should they also expect to wait longer for FINSELs/commissioning, or is that entirely separate?

I can't help you as far as if this is true or not, but if it is....thank god.

Would be a terrible time to wash out of flight school or get NAMI-whammied, also.
