Does anyone have any experience with these in or out of the cockpit? I saw them on TV as an equipment highlight during the UT/OU game Saturday. Tinted contacts seem like they'd be a good thing. Anyone seen/used them?

Seems like all the vendors are MDs. Methinks you would need to run it by the flight doc. My visor is already tinted anyway and I'm never putting that up as long as I'm in a T-45, either . . . contact's can't protect against the MDC . . .

I'm interested in them for long road trips and other outdoor activities more so than using while flying. I'd agree that anything beyond the tinted visor is a little beyond necessary.

They might get you a funny callsign though. :D
